Phalaenopsis Valentinii is an old primary hybrid between phal cornu-cervi and violacea which has more recently been remade into plants with amazing flower colour. Newer, darker, cornu-cervi selections have imparted rich, shiny, wine-reds into this perennial classic.
Phal Valentinii is tolerant of stronger light levels. It is easy to grow under warm conditions and, if grown in a fast-draining media, can be watered daily. They also do well mounted. As with most short-stemmed phals, don’t let water sit in the crown for too long or it could rot.
