I last posted a couple of impressive phalaenopsis specimens from a show. Well, that wasn’t going to be the end of it. From the same show, here’s a large Phalaenopsis stuartiana with two multi-branching spikes emerging from what looked like twin plants mounted on a fern slab.
It’s a beautiful specimen. And I love the way the flowers are allowed to hang pendulously rather than staked upright. It’s a more natural display, if you ask me.
If you have a thing for species phals, especially those with marbled leaves, then you should put P stuartiana into your bucket list.
