A few pictures in my blog disappeared. Grrr! I’m not sure what happened.

A quick check revealed that it only affected pictures from one file-hosting service in particular. The url-embedded pictures didn’t appear unless I was logged-in to the cloud service. My guess is the latest WordPress update made a mess of it.

While I didn’t have to spend an inordinate amount of time fixing the missing pictures, it was still a nuisance of a process to have to go through. If I learned anything from this small misfortune it would be to think twice about embedding pics from Onedrive now (oops!).

Back to orchids. Yes, it’s been a long while since my last post. Got distracted by pressures of work lately. And time hasn’t been kind.

Nothing blooming at home these days, so I’ll share a few photos of Paphiopedilum Vanguard. This is a primary hybrid between Paph glaucophyllum and rothschildianum, two excellent parents. Can’t give you advise on how to grow this, though. I struggle with multifloral paphs.

Enjoy the pictures and Happy Eid Mubarak to all Muslim readers!

Paphiopedilum Vanguard – two splendid spikes on this plant.

A closer look at the four blooms. Two buds are on the way.
